for today...

outside my window... 64F & cloudy @ 4am, 85F & sunny forecasted for today
i am thinking... it's Friday the 13!  yikes!!!
i am thankful for... cool mountain air at night
i am wearing... shorts, Tshirt & pink flamingo flipflops
i am going... to the Knoxville Carnival Friday night, and hang out in the Beer Garden with my friend, Barb, and we're gonna eat steamed clams and french fries with vinegar, and have a cold beer or two
i am currently reading... "With Liberty and Justice For Some," by Glenn Greenwald
i am hoping... to edit photos, am so far behind *sigh*
on my mind... gas @ $3.45/gallon, milk @ $3.55/gallon, sugar @ $3.39/5 lb
pondering these words... “life is like a camera, focus on what's important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things don't work out, just take another shot"
from the kitchen... all the fixin's for an Italian hoagie Yum!
around the house... the Hoover Floor-Mate got a work-out today!
one of my favorite things... picking fresh blueberries
i'm creating... layouts for the Lilypad's July Challenges
a few plans for the weekend... yardwork, especially the flowerbeds
from my lens:

4th of July photos
{left to right}
me, serving trifle for dessert
rainbow over the hayfield
seven sisters roses
bunnies snacking by the birdfeeder
the old Davis farmstead, as the mist rolls in
view of the valley, Purple Brook Road
the Lord provided His Own fireworks
as the sky was filled with heat lightning
and I then drove home under a full moon
it was a glorious day!

and finally, here's a page I created for the 4th of July,
the Betsy Ross House, in my hometown of Philadelphia, PA
