for today...

outside my window... sunny & 55F, with a high of 63F forecasted this afternoon *smile*

i am thinking... how delightful it was to hear the "peeping" of the peeps on the drive home last night

i am thankful for... pussywillows and jonquils & daffodils

i am wearing... khaki's, a vine printed waffle weave shirt, and my birki's

i am going... to visit friends for an early Easter Dinner

i am currently reading... "The Gifts of Imperfection," by Brene Brown

i am hoping... that there is a drive-around the new bridge construction down the road, starting tomorrow

on my mind... gas @ $3.73/gallon, milk @ $2.75/gallon, sugar @ $2.99/5 lb

from the kitchen... Easter Babkas, ham, lamb, asparagus, salt potatoes, shrimp pasta salad, traditional Easter Cake (with pineapple filling, 7-minute frosting, smothered with coconut and decorated with jellybeans), and a pound cake with chocolate buttercream frosting

around the house... tulips & hyacinths

one of my favorite things... Spring! the return of the Songbirds, green grass, buds on the trees and lilac bushes, and blooming bulbs; after the coldest Winter since 1944 (according to the Weather Channel), it's finally Spring *yay* 

i'm creating... scrapbooking pages, and I seriously need a new FB timeline cover!

a few plans for the week...  yardwork, window washing (35 windows) *sigh*
