for today

 for today

outside my window... 32F/cloudy @ 1:00am
i am thinking...  a new firewood source is imperative 'sigh'
i am thankful for... an ergonomic snow shovel & Lomotil
i am wearing... jeans, thermal pullover, fleece hoodie, ankle boots
i am going... for a flu shot & a covid booster on Friday
i am currently reading...
"The Paper Bag Christmas"
~ Kevin Alan Milne ~
i am hoping...  to purchase a new car battery this week
on my mind... gas @ $3.97/gallon, milk @ $3.99/gallon, butter @ $3.99/lb
pondering these words...
"Holly and mistletoe
Candles and bells,
I know the message
That each of you tells."
~ Leland B. Jacobs ~
from the kitchen...
leftover turkey & vegetables for a deep dish pot pie
panettone
fruitcake
around the house... winter greenery
one of my favorite things...  white poinsettias
a few plans for the week... grocery shopping; holiday baking; wreaths/trim/lights, etc.
from my lens:
