for today
outside my window... 58F/rain today @ 12:00am
i am thinking... it's time to ban assault weapons in this Country!
i am thankful for... the summer solstice 1/21/22 @ 5:15am
after a long, frigid, snowy winter, the flowerbeds not only survived, but are gorgeous!
the lilac bushes were showstoppers, the snow on the mountain and hostas are lush,
the snowball bush grew a foot taller,
columbine, in varying pink colors
all of the perennials are in full bloom
and I have to admit the purple phlox lining the country roads brings a smile every year
i am wearing... blue jeans, T shirt & a long-sleeved denim shirt, Birkenstocks
i am going... to get some yardwork done & burn cardboard boxes
i am currently reading... The Maid, by Nita Prose
i am hoping... to get all 35 windows washed
on my mind... gas @ $5.01/gallon, milk @ $3.99/half-gallon, butter @ $3.99/lb
pondering these words...
"Spring being a tough act to follow,
God created June."
~ Al Bernstein ~
